After Care

Before Your Appointment

Please review the following guidelines to ensure optimal skin condition for your procedure.

01

Avoid intense physical activity on the day of your appointment, as increased body heat may open pores.

02

Refrain from taking Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, Ibuprofen, Omega-3, or fish oil prior to your procedure. Paracetamol is permitted.

03

Please avoid alcohol and caffeine for at least 24 hours before your appointment.

04

Do not tint or wax your eyebrows prior to the procedure.

For Lips

01

If you have a history of cold sores or herpes, please take Famciclovir 500mg (available over the counter at your pharmacy) prior to your appointment.

02

For optimal results, gently exfoliate your lips with a lip scrub to remove any dry or dead skin.

03

Keep your lips well moisturized with Vaseline the night before your treatment.

For Eyeliner

01

Please remove any eyelash extensions or false lashes prior to your appointment.

02

Contact lenses must be removed before the procedure to prevent irritation or potential injury.

Eyebrows After Care Instructions

Please follow the guidelines below during the first 7 days for optimal healing and results.

01

Approximately 30 minutes after the procedure, gently cleanse the brows using a damp cotton pad. Allow the area to air dry, then apply a thin layer of Vitamin A&D ointment.

02

Repeat this process 1–3 times daily to maintain proper healing.

First 7 Days – What to Avoid

Proper care during this period is essential to prevent irritation and ensure optimal healing.

01

Avoid workouts or any activities that cause excessive sweating, including sports or intense physical exercise.

02

Do not swim or expose the treated area to water such as pools, oceans, or steam.

03

Avoid facial treatments such as massages, as well as saunas, hot baths, or Jacuzzis.

04

Stay away from direct sun exposure or tanning (including salon tanning), as UV rays may cause color changes and premature fading.

05

Keep the treated area completely dry. Do not apply water, cleanser, creams, makeup, or any products directly on the brows.

06

Do not pick, peel, rub, or scratch the area. Allow any scabbing or dry skin to shed naturally to prevent scarring or pigment loss.

07

Avoid sleeping on your face to prevent pressure on the treated area.

08

When washing your face, gently clean around the brows without letting water touch them. During showers, keep your face away from the water stream or consider taking a bath.

Next 30 Days – What to Avoid

Following these guidelines will help maintain pigment retention and overall results.

01

Avoid direct sun exposure, sunbathing, and solarium treatments, as UV rays can cause fading and color changes.

02

Refrain from aesthetic procedures such as Botox, fillers, and light-based therapies.

03

Avoid chemical peels, fruit acids, and exfoliating treatments including microdermabrasion.

04

Do not undergo laser treatments on the treated area, as they may damage the pigment and cause burns.

05

Limit the use of antibiotics or hormonal therapies where possible, as they may accelerate pigment fading.

06

After the initial 7-day healing period, apply sunscreen to protect the brows and preserve color longevity.

Healing Process

Understanding the healing timeline will help you feel more confident throughout each stage.

01

Day 1: Mild redness may appear in the treated area.

02

Day 2: The color may appear darker than expected.

03

Days 3–7: Itching and light scabbing are normal. The scabs will begin to naturally shed between days 4–7.

04

Days 8–14: The color may fade and appear lighter or uneven. This is a normal part of the healing process.

05

Days 14–20: The pigment will gradually reappear and become more defined.

06

For best results, cosmetic tattoo procedures typically require two sessions.

07

The second session can be performed after a minimum of 4 weeks to refine and perfect the results.

08

Any necessary adjustments can also be completed after the 4-week healing period.
